Cohesion Alliance
Communication about the #CohesionAlliance – an EU wide alliance in favour of a strong cohesion policy after 2020. The EU's cohesion policy aims to strengthen economic and social cohesion by reducing disparities in the level of development between regions. 

CoR Monitoring Report on Europe 2020 and the European Semester
Communications regarding the CoR Monitoring Platform - which monitors the involvement of local and regional authorities in the European Semester of economic policy coordination and in the EU's Europe 2020 long-term strategy for sustainable growth.

EGTC (European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation)
Communications regarding the European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation (coordinated by the CoR) - a European Union level form of transnational cooperation between countries and local authorities with legal recognition.

European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) award
The European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) is a project that identifies and rewards EU regions which show an outstanding and innovative entrepreneurial policy strategy, irrespective of their size, wealth and competences. The regions with the most credible, forward-thinking and promising vision plan are granted the label "European Entrepreneurial Region" (EER) for a specific year.

RegHub is a platform which aims to involve key local and regional actors through effective consultations in order to collect their experiences on EU policy implementation.

CIVEX (Citizenship, Governance, Institutional and External Affairs)
The CIVEX Commission is concerned with areas such as freedom, security and justice; immigration policy; external relations and international treaties; terrorism and border controls; decentralised cooperation for development and EU enlargement issues.

COTER (Territorial Cohesion Policy and EU Budget)
The COTER Commission covers economic, social and territorial cohesion; structural funds and spatial planning; urban policy and housing; transport and trans-European transport networks plus regional statistics, the annual EU budget and other local and regional financial matters.

ECON (Economic Policy)
The ECON Commission covers industrial policy; SME policy; economic and monetary policy; economic governance; the internal market; international trade and tariffs; public procurement plus competition and state aid policy.

ENVE (Environment, Climate Change and Energy)
The ENVE Commission covers environment and climate change; energy; space policies of the European Union. It also coordinates activities related to the Covenant of Mayors, an initiative involving local and regional authorities in the fight for better climate and energy policies.

NAT (Natural Resources)
The NAT Commission covers the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and rural development; food production; animal welfare; public health; consumer protection; the Common Fisheries policy; Maritime Affairs policy; civil protection plus tourism.

SEDEC (Social Policy, Education, Employment, Research and Culture)
The SEDEC commission has a very wide remit, covering a multitude of policy areas, including: employment policy, social policy and social protection; mobility, equal opportunities; education and training; research and innovation.
